About Me

As an alumna of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Asian Studies, I have been exposed to various unique creative opportunities and experiences that have encouraged me to pursue my passions in writing and photography. Through my eyes and with my camera lens, I have been able to capture those important moments, a feeling I continue to find enlightening and humbling. Every click of my camera produces a visualization of a moment, helps me tell a unique story and every word written emphasizes and aligns with it in a dynamic relationship (that evokes the nuances of the human spirit); this is my continued goal as I encounter people and places that help me elicit messages of wonder and amazement.

I have returned to the University of Central Florida to pursue further education with a Master's degree in Technical Communication. The way in which we communicate ideas and share information is paramount and effectively utilizing modern technology is crucial to this effort. As a photographer and journalist, my priority lies in producing work that stands for a purpose, to inform, entertain, inspire or awe, and reaches the minds to others across all mediums for all audiences. My goal is to continue refining my skills in generating photographs that catch the eye and mind, while improving the storytelling aspect of my photography.
